stroke

ok. just a quick update. my dad suffered a mild stroke couple of weeks back.

it was a right-brain stroke, and the blood vessel burst (cant be bothered to check spelling now), so basically the left side of his body is immobile now. there's sensory feeling, but no motor movement whatsoever.

he's now warded in amk hospital, undergoing physiotherapy etc. there's been no significant improvement, but the nurses and physiotherapist told me that it might take a while.

please uphold my dad in prayer, that God will extend His healing touch and heal my dad, and also for his salvation, that he will come to know and accept the Lord as His Savior in these times.

please also pray for my mum, that during this time she will not fall sick or despair, and that God will grant her strength.

i've been trying my best to support my parents, and not to add to their burdens. praise God for the results that were released last week; i cleared everything. at least one big worry is out of the way.

been shuttling to and from the hospital these 2 weeks, clearing up the house so that the dad will haf easier movements when he finally gets back, and spending time with him when i can.
