i blasted out an sms abt this to some ppl, and the common reply was 'siao arh.. so random'
but i really have to wonder. sometimes we try and slog and strive so hard to attain that next level, next award, next whatever, thinking that when we get there we'll be that much happier, that much more satisfied.
how often is that true?
a lot of times we blindly slog and work our backsides off to reach that point, only to realise it's not the end! there's something further down we have to achieve!
i'm not saying we just chuck it all up though. we're told to do all things as if unto the Lord.. to bring glory and honor to His name. and it makes perfect sense to do so. but don't get caught up looking at YOUR preconception of what the end point should be, that the journey becomes ugly and dull and just plain torturous.
take a lil breather, smell the flowers. appreciate the journey. or in my case, listen to music and enjoy a leisurely ride, even if it's just 5 mins long (:

i can conquer the world with one hand...
as long as you're holding the other
