oh hey! haha.. didn't notice i already crossed the 100 post mark. remarkable, when i think about it.

it's day 2, and although i know the overall count is actually very low, that missing bit still makes its non-presence felt.

on a lighter note, i started on Philip Yancey's Prayer: Does It Make Any Difference?

i've always studiously avoided books on prayer. i know and acknowledge its importance, but long books about prayer just don't really appeal to me. but i looked at my bookshelf and realised that over the years, i've gotten no less than 3 books on prayer. and seeing as i have a lot of spare energy now, i thought i'd get started on one. only one chapter so far, but it's been good. will blog about it as i get through it.

philip yancey is a rather good writer; his premise for writing the book is the same as why i'm reading it. so that makes it easier, i guess. heh.
